Grep is a pain in the ass to walk on a leash in a canyon, but off leash it is wonderful. Thanks to a wonderful dog pager with remote control. It is also especially wonderful as the upper road is closed to non-pedestrian traffic until July 1st. See a few photos in my gallery.

Aparantly we found that naming dogs after commands does not work. Enter “grep.”:http://www.gnu.org/software/grep/grep.html This time we found a name that not only fits his personality, sniffing and searching, but it sounds like a good strong name.
