Flock

I finally tried Flock after hearing about it in depth on Inside the Net.

I hadn’t tried it before, because I expected it to be a bloated browser, full of “Web 2.0″ crap just because it is cool.  Although that podcast got me really in the mood to try it.  And after using it for just a few minutes I think I have fallen in love.

It has all the Firefox goodness in it, but maintains a beautiful clean look.  In some ways even better than Firefox.  I was really craving a simple clean look too.  I was using Safari for a very long time before switching back to Firefox last week.  The Web Developer extension is a must have for any web developer.

The next thing I fell in love with is the del.icio.us bookmark integration.  While the Firefox extension works fairly well for this, Flock takes it to the next step.  Adding a tagging/spotlight like behavior for your bookmarks.  So very cool.

Now I am tryin the integrated blogging tool.  So far it doesn’t seem any more exemplary than  MarsEdit.  Except for the fact that this program is Free.  yay!

So far I haven’t found any bugs, and it seems to work very well.  I do see a few places for small interface improvements, but beyond that it totally r0xx0rs.
