Erg. Site down.
Yesterday my site was down. Cyberpixels my host decided to “suspend” my account because I sent too many emails. I was testing out and making changes to my rss2email script. There were a few times the entire list was sent several times. But that kind of testing is done.
Although I understand that I did send a whole lot of emails, about 1500, I don’t understand why they couldn’t simply send me an email asking me what is going on. All they needed to do was to check the log and they can clearly see that all my emails are directed to one person, me.
Oh well, I think I am going to build in a method to send either locally, or to my own SMTP server.
