Will any of you females out there help me out with this problem.
My friend Casey seems to have a crush on me. I like her as a friend and I don't have a desire to date her. I have dropped hint after hint that I don't want to date her. As I see there are three things I could do.
1. Tell her in a very specific and direct way, that I am not interested and I only want to remain friends. I am worried that it may hurt her feelings. I still want her as my friend.
2. Fake a girlfriend. Tell her that I have a girlfriend, and maybe she won't be interested any more. I might even have to lie and tell her I am gay.
3. Stop hanging out with her altogether. I don't want to do this, though. She is a good friend.
